Terms and Conditions

Using this privately operated reference site means accepting these terms. Do not use the site if you do not agree with them.

This site is privately owned and is not connected to a government office, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA, and neither this site nor its advertising partners provides services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or other FCRA-covered decisions.

Service and Permitted Use

The site is a private reference source for locating Union County records resources. It stores no official custody or court records, cannot confirm current custody, release a person, or file paperwork. Use it lawfully and respectfully. Do not use material to stalk, harass, threaten, make prohibited screening decisions, attempt unauthorized access, run automated scrapers, or disrupt access for others.

FCRA Restriction

This site is not a consumer reporting agency. It does not provide consumer reports, credit reports, or background investigations, and it may not be used for a decision about hiring, firing, housing, lending, insurance rates, licenses, permits, government-program eligibility, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.

Links, Availability, and Liability

Links to sheriff, detention, court, corrections, federal, and partner services do not make this site responsible for their content, privacy practices, uptime, or results. All material is provided “as is,” without a promise of accuracy, completeness, currency, uninterrupted availability, security, or thorough partner results. Custody and public records can change quickly. To the fullest extent allowed by law, this site is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

Other Terms

You agree to indemnify and hold this site harmless from claims arising from your use or misuse of it, including reasonable legal costs. Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Union County Busted Mugshots or its content partners and may not be copied, distributed, or modified without written permission. Terms may be changed at any time, and access may be limited or revoked without notice. South Carolina law governs these terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect and the affected language is adjusted only as needed.
